What is the largest wedding you’ve hosted? The smallest?

75 people to just the bride and groom

Do you create wedding activities for your clients with things to do for multiple day stays? Can you arrange for bachelor parties and bridal parties?

Most definitely. In terms of activities most would be excursions. The Pink is a perfect place for both Bachelor and bridal parties.

What is your most typical wedding scenario?

Most typical is an elopement with just the couple and up to about 20 guests. As we are a historic boutique hotel, it is the perfect place for intimate weddings.

What has been the most unique wedding or wedding request?

I served as the matron of honor for the bride, whom I had just met, (got her dressed, helped in every aspect of getting her ready) as well as officiated the ceremony. One couple were here for their elopement and were having some difficulties, they almost called off the wedding. I spent hours with them, counseled them, sent them on a spiritual journey to re-connect and they came back in tears thanking me and were married the next day.

What special arrangements are you known for providing during the wedding and for the Honeymoon night?

Anything the couple desires and more. From rose petals to votives everywhere, fires burning etc. Most of all their every need is met with the most personal and least invasive service you can imagine.

What is the most common mistake made by those planning weddings?

Forgetting about what is most important.

What has been the most endearing wedding moment to take place at your resort?

I have to say each wedding performed have many endearing moments. It is creating that moment of magic for the couple, which will last in their hearts and memories forever.

What trends do you see in recent weddings? And which trend or custom would you like to see no more? (Please share any additional comments that might make this article more intriguing for a potential client.)

As you have probably noticed, our hotel does not specialize in the mainstream wedding. The trend I see most clearly is simplicity, particularly in these global and financial times. In terms of what is most intriguing or special about our property is that every member of our staff becomes personally connected to the couple and their journey. It is always an intimate affair and the couple feels like they have left a second home and an extended family behind, while making plans for a return trip most commonly for their anniversary.
