If our title is “What is old is new again” how would this statement reflect your work?

In addition to modern & contemporary projects, we do a lot of work using classic furnishings in new, imaginative ways to make them work for the way we live today. A perfect example of this idea is the adaptive reuse of a 7-11/Alsups for our design studio and showroom.

What is the best “green” example for the least cost?

Antiques and natural linen fabrics.

How can one gradually become “green?”

Buy things that will last, great design never goes out of style. Don't spend money on "disposable" furnishings. Remodel, rehab, reuse in a new way.

If money were no cost what would you do to design or build green?

An Historic remodel, doing a thoughtful, useful and beautiful preservation.

Your dream project would be?

The same as the previous question!

The work for which you are most proud is?

The Wiseman & Gale & Duncan Studio/Showroom building, for which we won a Historic Preservation Award.

If you weren't an Architect, Designer, Builder, Furniture maker what profession would you have chosen?

Artist or gardener.
