Ahlgren Gallery

Armed with a jewel-toned palette, Karen pushes the medium of watercolor to an intense and visceral level. Her contemporary images of wildlife are powerful and at the same time tender.

Please call for an appointment to visit her 150 year old adobe studio/gallery - a renovated Methodist/Espiscopalian Mission that once thrived in this border town.

Art of Russia Gallery

Originally established in 1995 as an exclusive setting to present the paintings of Russian artist Yevgeni Shchukin to the American audience, Art of Russia Gallery has since expanded its vision to inclusively celebrate the reinvigoration of Russian art and culture. While offering inflections from the Soviet Era as well, our focus reflects the ardent spirit of new Russia. Amid today’s compelling renaissance in Russian art lies a new generation of painters, many of whom we are pleased to represent.

Between Heaven & Earth - The Lost Ink Project

Lost Ink, a subsidiary of Between Heaven and Earth LLC, is an online gallery of 18th, 19th and 20th century Japanese woodblock prints. The Gallery was created out of a fascination for these remarkable works of art.

The traditional Japanese art of woodblock printing as practiced in the 18th and 19th century was a very complex, elaborate and collaborative project between artist, publisher, woodblock carver and printer… an art form that today is practiced by very few and none that in our opinion rival the detail and intricacies found in the prints from the 1800’s. Hence the name Lost Ink.

D. Rothermel Fine Art

For the last 25 years as an artist I have been painting and marveling over the true spiritual nature of this land. The paintings before you in this exhibit reflect the grace and synchronicity of the western landscape and my relationship to it.

The gratitude I have for being able to participate in the phenomena that happens when the light, weather, space, and beauty come together is overwhelming.

My purpose with these works of art are to bathe the viewer in light - a visual baptism of color that saturates the soul, gives peace, serenity and emotional reflection.
