Chef Michal Hoobler, formally the Executive Chef of Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix & Ivan Flowers, formally Executive Sous Chef of Royal Palms Resort and The Point South Mountain in Phoenix.
Did you always plan to be a Chef?
Yes, I was inspired by my mother. She was very passionate about cooking for my dad and her four boys. She loved when friends came to dinner! I loved how happy she would get know friends were coming over to eat her cooking.
Something you’d like to see leave the dining scene is?
I would like Chef’s to take a healthier approach to their respective cuisines. (Organic & sustainable)
Your best tip for an enterprising home chef is?
Try to make your dish of preference over and over to understand the ingredients and the flavors so the end result is perfect. Tailor your recipes for your family and guests.
